DATA247 AI CONNECTOR (MCP)

Connect an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to your Data247 account using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and run real-time phone, identity, address, email, and IP lookups in plain conversation. Lookups are billed to your Data247 account.

What it is

The Data247 connector is a hosted MCP server that lets a compatible AI assistant query Data247 on behalf of your account. You can validate and enrich contacts, run fraud and risk checks, and stay compliant with calling/texting rules — without leaving your assistant. Account and rate-card tools are free; data lookups are billed per use against your prepaid Data247 balance.

Requirements

You must have an active Data247 account to use the connector. You sign in to the connector with your existing Data247 email and password, and lookups are billed to that account's prepaid balance — so a funded account is needed to run paid lookups. If you don't have an account yet, sign up at data247.com first.

Add this server URL in your AI assistant's connector settings:

How to add it

Claude (Pro/Max): Customize → Connectors → + → Add custom connector. Enter a name (Data247) and the server URL above, then sign in with your Data247 email and password when prompted.
ChatGPT (Developer Mode): Settings → Connectors → Create. Enter a name, a description, and the server URL above, then enable the connector in a chat.

What you can do

  • Phone: carrier & line-type lookup (US/Canada and international), phone verification, reverse phone (owner + address), phone-to-name, find phone by name & address.
  • Email: email verification (deliverability), reverse email (owner), find email by name & address.
  • Address & location: address verification, ZIP lookup and reverse ZIP, property records.
  • Identity: full consumer profile, gender append, match a phone to a person or company.
  • Compliance: National Do-Not-Call (DNC) check; manage your account's internal DNC list.
  • Fraud & risk: IP geolocation with proxy/VPN/threat signals, signup fraud screening, one-call lead validation (phone + email + DNC).
  • Account (free): balance, rate card, account usage, and sub-account usage.

Authentication

Access uses a secure OAuth consent flow. You sign in with your existing Data247 email and password and approve access before the assistant can act on your behalf. Your Data247 API key is never shared with the AI provider, and you can revoke access at any time from the MCP Access page.

Pricing & billing

Account and rate-card tools are free. Other lookups are billed per use at your account's rates and drawn from your prepaid Data247 balance — the same pricing as the Data247 API and portal. Ask the assistant for your balance or rate card at any time.

Data & privacy
